Summary: The Bakery Field Specialist assists in the training and development of bakery managers and bakery team members as well as plan, direct and market programs implemented by the Director of Bakery. They provide expertise in all areas associated with the bakery department creating a professional and trusted liaison between the Stores, Support Center, business vendors, guests and the bakery team they represent.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
1. Actively implements marketing programs within the bakery department including new and discontinued items, schematics and periodic product review creating a shopping experience that continually surprises and delights our guests.
2. Assists in the training and development of department team members and managers in order to grow guest care experts in every department that are knowledgeable in safe handling procedures, product value and general department operations.
3. Communicates to the Director of Bakery areas of opportunity, recommends action plan and monitors progress towards goals including making operational changes to policy and procedures.
4. Assists with equipment and display fixture purchases ensuring that the department layout is innovative and consistently offers a distinctive shopping experience for our guests.
5. Responds in a timely and service-oriented manner to requests from Store and Support Center staff and outside vendors via phone calls, emails and in-person contact.
6. Assists with the coordination of in-store demonstrations and communicates sales promotions and advertising plans with store teams in order to successfully achieve sales and contribution goals within the bakery categories.
7. Takes the initiative to help create a forward thinking and fun shopping experience for our guests by developing new programs within the bakery category and other perishable departments.
8. Maintains confidentiality of departmental/company data, initiatives and other sensitive information.
9. Adheres to all company policies and procedures creating a professional and enjoyable work environment.
Qualifications:
•2 years management or other combinations of training, experience and working knowledge such as production baking or culinary training
•Adept with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written communications, that motivate and create a passionate sales atmosphere
•Ability to translate current industry trends into profitable retail programs

Loss Prevention Field Specialists work within an assigned store(s) detecting and apprehending suspects of external and internal theft ensuring that all company assets are protected and preserved. They are responsible for assisting in Organized Retail Crime (ORC) investigations and responding to other emergency situations in adherence to established policies and procedures, as well as meeting any state/federal law compliance. Additionally, they conduct interviews of suspects, prepare written documentation and correct any loss prevention issues within the store environment creating a trusted relationship between the loss prevention department and their assigned store(s). Position is full-time & requires 24/7 availability.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides world-class service and mentors all co-workers towards providing the same passionate service at all times.
2. Works undercover in order to detect and apprehend suspects of external theft ensuring that a safe and secure environment is created for our guests and crew members to enjoy.
3. Conducts in-depth interviews of apprehended shoplifters, suspected crew members, vendors and related witnesses in order to prepare complete and accurate documentation.
4. Assists with ORC investigations by sharing knowledge and offering assistance to other organizations in order to cultivate an industry-wide team oriented work environment.
5. Assists with internal investigations of crew members and vendors in order to identify areas of theft and/or dishonesty.
6. Provides testimony in a variety of hearings and other court related actions.

•Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated with high level of initiative
•Math skills necessary, but not limited to: loss prevention audits
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with co-workers and other crew members in English, demonstrate professional phone etiquette, courteously answer telephone calls and promptly respond to voicemail/email messages
•Must be at least 18 years of age due to equipment use and work environment
